Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Integrated and compact tunable laser was developed on dye doped plastic waveguides. Single mode stripped waveguides were fabricated, and distributed feedback structures were recorded on them. The plastic waveguided DFB laser operation was in the region of 560nm ~ 994nm by introducing seven different kinds of laser dyes. Thershold energy of the integrated dye lase was 0.5μJ with a repetition rate of 1kHz, and dye durability of 5 million shots could be attained by using a micro-chip Nd:YAG laser (SHG) as a pumping source. The proposed `Spatially Dispersive Digital Spectrosopy' was demonstrated by using a fabricated multi-stripe, multi-wavlength DFB dye laser array.
