Abstract(in English) | 8-channel Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) has been fabricated using PLC technology. Electric consumption power for 10 dB attenuation control was reduced to 63 mW/channel with average excess loss of 1.23 dB and average PDL of 0.35 dB. The VOA has been applied to Multi-channel optical signal level adjuster which has exhibited good performance in an accurate control of optical power level within feedbacktime of 10 msec. |
