Abstract(in English) | The generation of microwave signal from two optical lights by laser diodes using the optical heterodyne technique is described. To stabilize a microwave signal, the frequency discriminator using the delay self-homodyne technique was composed. The frequency error signal from the discriminator was returned to one of the laser diodes and the heterodyne signal was stabilized. Moreover, the second loop using a personal computer was added to alter the stabilized frequency arbitrarily The frequency control was achieved at the arbitrary frequency of 3-20GHz by using four frequency discriminators in which delay times differ. |
