Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The bi-soliton recently discovered by numerical simulation is a pair of nonlinear optical pulses transmitting through a loss-less dispersion management fiber, where the pulse interval is kept to be constant. If the transmission fiber is lossy, the dispersion management line should be constracted by dispersion decreased fibers. In this paper, we will introduce a designing process of the transmission line for bi-soliton constracted by commercially available fibers for more realistic line. Then, we will present the required tolerance of the group velocity dispersion of the fibers and its compensation.
