Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Bisoliton is a periodically stationary pulse propagating in a dispersion-managed optical fiber transmission system. The impairments arising from intrachannel interactions in a high-bit-rate system can be reduced by using the bisoliton. In this paper, a design of dispersion-managed system considering fiber's loss and periodic amplification for bisoliton transmission is presented. The effect of initial energy and chirp of input pulse, phase difference between neighboring pulses, and band width of optical band pass filter for removing amplifier noise on the interaction distance between adjacent pulses are also studied.
