Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An atom, such as a Rb, has absolutely stable absorption line at its peculiar frequency. One, therefore, can not select an arbitrary frequency using an atomic absorption line. On the other hand, the transmitted light spectrum of a Fabry-Perot etalon is affected by an environmental temperature, because the cavity length of etalon changes with the temperature variation. So, we constructed highly stable and broad frequency reference using the merits of Rb absorption line and etalon spectrum, and then stabilized the oscillation frequency of a semiconductor laser.
