| 抄録(和) | 偏波維持光ファイバのモード結合を利用した可変光波機能回路を実現した。この光回路は、遅延、位相推移、分岐重み付けを単位構造とした繰り返し構造で実現される.遅延には偏波維持光ファイバの(PMF)の偏波モード間の遅延、位相推移にはPMF温度変化による光学長の変化を用いる.分岐重み付けにPMFの側圧誘起モード結合を利用することによって、将来のフォトニックネットワークの構成変更に容易に対応できる柔軟性を持った光波回路が実現できる。PMFの側圧誘起モード結合量を制御するために、ピエゾ素子を用いた荷重負荷装置を開発、製作した。この装置を用いてモード結合を2ケ所誘起することによって、フラットトップな特性を持ち、かつチャネル間隔可変なインターリーブフィルタを実現した。さらに、モード結合を3ケ所誘起することによって、よりフラットトップな特性を持つインターリーブフィルタを実現できた。 |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we propose a tunable lattice filter using stress-induced mode-coupling in a PMF and demonstrate an adjustable flat-top interleave filler. It consists of polarizers or a polarization beam splitter (PBS) and a PMF. The proposal tunable lattice filter is a cascade of several basic components, composed of a directional coupler, a phase shifter and a delay line. First, we use the polarization-independent configuration using a PBS, and induced mode couplings at two points. Flat passband having ripples within ± 0.05 dB has been realized. In order to realize the flatter and wider passband, we increased the stress positions to three. We use the configuration using polarizers. For comparison, we measured the transmission spectra when (he stress points are two. We found that the passbaiid is wider. We demonstrated that the 0.5dB-bandwidth is enhanced from 1.85 nm to 2.3 nm by increasing the stress position from two to three at the cost of enhanced ripples. |
