Abstract(in English) | We discuss recent progress in quantum dot lasers and related devices including historical review. After overviewing impact of nanophotonic devices for ubiquitous communication, theoretical and experimental achievements on high-performance quantum dot lasers are discussed. These results indicate that quantum dot lasers and related devices are promising for the future information technologies.. |
