Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A waveguide crossed slot linear array with a matching element is designed by the method of moments using numerical-eigenmode basis functions. As an example, an array with 8 elements which radiates circularly polarized wave at a tilted beam direction is designed at 11.85GHz. Uniform amplitude distribution is obtained by modifying slot parameters. The radiation pattern, reflection and axial ratio are compared with the measured ones and agree very well. The measured axial ratio of the array at the beam direction is 1.7dB and is suppressed below 3dB over 18.4% of relative bandwidth. The measured reflection is suppressed below-15dB over 33.6% of relative bandwidth.
