Physical Distribution Support System with Multi-Intermediate Depot based on G-XML

Abstract(in English) This paper considers the physical distribution system with multiple intermediate depots in which intermediate depots are located at client side being far from the main depot, a large vehicle transports loads from the main depot to intermediate ones and multiple small vehicles do from intermediate depots to clients. This system realizes flexible distribution being suitable for frequent distribution of small quantity. In this research, we design and develop an information system that supports the distribution system. The information system collects and manages data to be used for planning to drive the distribution system, and also provides computing tools for the optimization of the driving plan. This paper presents the basic design and implementation of the information system.
