Analysis of Resources and Computation of Maximum Throughput in Workflows

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we discuss the modeling and performance evaluation of workflows with resources. We first introduce the concept of resources in workflows, and propose a Petri-nets-based model of workflows with resources. Then we give the definition of maximum throughput, and propose a method to compute maximum throughput based on the net model. Finally, we apply the method for an example and compare the computation results with simulation results. As a result, we conclude that our method is available for computing maximum throughput.
