Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we discuss the modeling and performance evaluation of workflows with resources. We first introduce the concept of resources in workflows, and propose a Petri-nets-based model of workflows with resources. Then we give the definition of maximum throughput, and propose a method to compute maximum throughput based on the net model. Finally, we apply the method for an example and compare the computation results with simulation results. As a result, we conclude that our method is available for computing maximum throughput. |
