Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Previously, Structured Analysis and Structured Design Method(SA/SD) was not precisely compared with object oriented analysis and design methods based on UML. In this paper, an extended SA/SD method for 3-tiered architecture will be compared with a UML based method. A library management system is used as an example to show the commonality and difference between the two methods.
