Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Knowledge exploration on distributed bio databases ramains a problem without explicit solution due to the difficulty ofintegrating information from heterogeneous resources. In this paper, we propose a system that can query cross distributed bio databases by using ontology to organize database data from different resources basing on relationships between biological concepts. Retrieval task is automatized by executing retrieval procedure created through user-system interaction. Consequently users can explore the knowledge base and databases seamlessly by answering questions dynamiclly generated from the system.
