| 抄録(和) | 回路構成が単純で広可変範囲の汎用性の高い電圧制御発振器(VCO)の開発を目的に,発振周波数がCR時定数により決まるリング発振器を応用し,新しい回路構成を提案,IC設計・試作およびその評価を行った.従来のリング発振器型VCOでは,制御電圧が低くなると各インバータが電源から浮いてしまい動作しなくなる.それを解決するために,提案したVCOは1段目のCを帰還させたインバータの出力抵抗を可変する構成とした.シミュレーションおよび実験から,提案したVCOは制御電圧の低い範囲でも動作可能で従来のVCOより可変範囲が広いことを確認した.また,1段目の出力抵抗を可変させるだけなので,回路構成が単純化できた. |
| 抄録(英) | New voltage control oscillator (VCO) with simple circuit and wide tuning range applied by ring oscillator, with which oscillation frequency is decided by the time constant of CR, is proposed. In the conventional ring oscillator type VCO, each inverter stops operating to float from a power supply when control voltage becomes small. In order to solve it, proposed VCO is the configuration that varies output resistance of inverter with feedbacked loop by C. From simulation and measurement results, it is confirmed that proposed VCO has the variable range that is wider than the conventional VCO even at lower control voltage. Moreover, circuit configuration has been simplified. |
