Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The application to Integrated circuit of the direct conversion communication system was studied using Push-Pull Phase Adding mixer (PPAM) that proposed by the design of an analog PLL circuit. First, Class-AB PPAM with a positive gain was designed, because the gain is small for using Class B PPAM as a mixer for signal receiving. As a result of examining the characteristic of Class-B PPAM and Class-AB PPAM, conversion gain of the latter was made higher than the former, and the high order harmonics of the Class-AB was reduced. Next, as study on the detection system, we tried the detection of AM and FM signal using the PPAM Circuit. Consequently, the modulated signal was down convertible by the PPAM circuit.
