Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this paper is to observe what effect the various opening speeds (10mm/s, 20mm/s and 30mm/s). A breaking arc is generated in a D.C.42V/ 10.5A circuit. The arc voltage, the arc current and the arc spectrum intensity are measured. Spectrum wavelength 510.55nm, 515.32nm and 521.82nm are measured at all of the opening speeds. Judging the arc temperature from Boltzmann Plot, the temperature starts from high temperature, and falls gradually to 465~4750K with time, then the gap length at the arc termination is 0.68~0.86mm on all of the opening speeds.
