Abstract(in English) Recently, WDM signals are transmitted and processed with high flexibility through more sophisticated devices. In those situations, it becomes more and more important to monitor the signal level of each channel at certain stages of the transmission, for example, before multiplexing, after demultiplexing, or at the physical interfaces of optical modules. In this paper we propose a novel type of in-line multi-channel power level monitor.
