Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the contact phenomenon on a tactile sensor has been considered. The value of penetration depth of the sensor tip by the static impressed force is calculated using the finite element method. The influence of the thickness of the object is analyzed and the range of an applicable size of the object is considered. The contact area on the sensor tip by the impressed force almost corresponds with the approximate value from the elasticity theory.
