Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel detection method of Frequency Hopping (FH) pattern by iterative likelihood ratio calculations, and presents its properties. In a conventional FH system, large degradation of pattern detection arises by fluctuation of signal level for each frequency slot over a frequency selective fading channel. While, in the proposed method, an improvement of pattern detection probability can be obtained by iterative calculations of likelihood ratio values from time domain and ones from frequency domain. In this paper, the calculation method of likelihood ratio from these domains and the iterative method are shown fbr a maximum likelihood ratio decision. Then, a multilevel FSK(MFSK)/ FH svstem is employed, and the effect of the propoed method is shown by computer simulations.
