Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 2-D anele estimation algorithm for ESPRIT with uniform circular arrays(UCA) has been presented by C.P.Mathews et a1. as UCA-ESPRIT. In this paper, a new algorithm of 2-D anele estimation for ESPRIT with UCA is proposed. And the estimation performance comoarison of UCA-ESPRIT and proposed method is presented. With the UCA-ESPRIT, the array pattern is approximated to continuous circular aperture, therefore the residual terms are ignored. To make the residual terms small enoueh to be negligible, maximum mode order for approximation of Bessel function is needed to be sufficiently smaller than array element. The proposed method use only Bessel function to represent array manifold vector. So that larger mode order can be chosen for approximation of Bessel function. Consequently, better estimation performance can be expected when there are not too many sources.
