An Adaptive Blind MSINR Filter for Co-channel Interference Suppression in DS/CDMA Systems

Abstract(in English) As a blind adaptive algorithm based on MMSE criterion for co-channel interference suppression in DS/CDMA systems, the adaptive MOE algorithm has been studied and analyzed in great detail. However, this algorithm has such a problem that the perfomance is greatly dropped under the strong near-far problem. In this paper, we modify the previously proposed adaptive MSINR algorithm, which works as to minimize the de-spread interference and noise power under the condition that the desired signal power keeps constant, as to work as a blind type algorithm without training data. And then, we confirm the perfomance of this algorithm by some computer simulations. This algorithm achieves great progress in terms of the Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio comparing to the adaptive MOE algorithm.
