Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a method for forming the focused corn-beam in the specified direction using hexagonal array loudspeakers and three dimentional(3-D) FIR corn filter. The desired amplitude and phase characteristics are assigned to the 3-D FIR filter to be able to form the spherical wave-front propagated directively from a focal point, and the design is performed by using a hexagonal fast Fourier transform (HFFT) and the usual FFT. The spherical wave-front forming and focal point forming can be verified by the calculated impulse train response.
