Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ultrasonic cleaning were developed as applications of ultrasonic energy, applications of high power ultrasonics after 2nd World War in several countries. Prof. Emeritus Junich Saneyosih moved to Tokyo Institue of Technology from Tohoku University as a professor of Research Institute of Electronics at 1949. The Research Institute of Precision Machinary and Electronics was established after the Research Institute of Electronics at 1954. Prof. Saneyozshi and their group worked on various objects on ultrasonics including of the high power ultrasonics and organized the research group of ultrasonics. At 1962, Ultrasonic Engineering Division was established on the base of the results of the works that Prof. Saneyoshi took leaderships. Various basic researchs and application developments on high power ultrasonics and also on ultrasonic measurements were executed at the Institute. The researching results at Saneyoshi laboratoly contributed significantly to ultrasonic industry in Japan and in the world.
