| Abstract(in English) | Questionnaire based surveys were performed in 1994-2001 for eleven area of Tokyo to elucidate health effects due to road traffic noise. Data of 3250 women aged from 20 to 59 years residing near the roads were analyzed. Health effects of road traffic noise were found in reference to annoyance, sleep disturbance, physical and psychological symptoms and disease histories. |
