Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the binaural 3D reproduce system, precise calibrations are needed realize an accurate reproduction. According to H. Moller [1], if FEC (Free air Equivalent Coupling to the ear) headphone is used in the reproduction, it is recommeneded to block the external ear canal when measuring the calibration term since individuality included in the calibration term could be reduced by the use of listener's own external ear. He also argued that the motion of PDR (Pressure Division Ratio) is useful to evaluate FEC characteristic, and concluded that some headphones show FEC characteristic. However, the characteristic includes not only dependency on headphones but also characteristics of subjects. Therefore, it is not desirable to apply the approximation PDR 〓 1 for all subjects. In this paper, we report some results of measurement about PDRs using six kinds of headphones for six subjects.
