Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new set of measurement and compensation methods of loud speaker characteristics in real environment were introduced, based on an ecological interpretation of human auditory functions and a computational theory of early audition. The proposed methods consist of time varying filtering in impulse response estimation and inverse filter design based on measurements on multiple locations. The methods are based on the assumption that pole allocation and average duration of impulse response represent "invariance" in environment (in this case loud speakers). Examples of measurement and compensation were also illustrated.
