Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | A Microphone system using lavalier microphones for real world speech recognition is proposed. A speech corpus of about 12,000 sentences recorded through lavalier microphones in four different environments is built. Continuous speech recognition experiments using acoustic models trained by the speech corpus in each environment, attained a recognition accuracy of above 80%. Applying Delay-and-Sum method for two channels of lavalier microphone speech got higher recognition accuracy than that using only single channel of them. Then, the phase of the cross-spectrum between two channels could improve speech detection ratio of 83%/59% in car/street environment compared with a conventional method. |
