Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to make the health checker which the measuring point is on the distal radius, it is desired that the measuring method is easy and the accuracy is high. In this paper, a new measuring method is proposed. It is used five sensors and a digital slide caliper. The propagation velocity of the radius and the flesh were measured. Then the following things were discussed: relation between the propagation velocity through bone and age, the propagation velocity through the flesh and the body fat percentage, etc. From the results, it can be found that there is a possibility of health check by using the measurement of the propagation velocity through the bone and the flesh on the distal radius.
