Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, bone conduction in head was experimentally discussed by earplug type audiometer as follows : (a) using a vibration pickup from 13kHz to 40kHz, attenuation of bone-conducted sounds from various parts of the head to external auditory canal, and (b) spectra of teeth chattering sounds in external auditory canal. As the results, it was acquired that the pattern of propagation of bone-conducted sounds from various parts of the head to external auditory canal, and it was suggested that possibility to evaluate the hardness of skull by the measurement of teeth chattering sounds.
