Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is an important problem for a traffic accident prevention to know not only one's subjective symptoms but also his objective degree of fatigue. However, the mechanism of fatigue has been not solved clearly in the present spiritual physiology. In this paper, a measurement of fatigue in automobile operation (lack of sleep and drinking) by the fusion difference limen (FDL[Hz]) to the intermittent tone (from 10Hz to 100Hz) of ultrasound (42.5kHz) with a bone conduction vibrator (RION PV-60) and the adaptation of "illusory flash effect" were experimentally discussed. From the results, it can be said that each relation between FDL and the factors (drinking and lack of sleep) is found clearly as follows: (a) FDL is dropped by degree of fatigue, lack of sleep and drinking significantly. (b) The number of deviations from line increase by them. (c) In the case of before and after drinking, illusory flash effect changes clearly. Therefore, FDL and illusory flash effect are effective for the measurement of fatigue.
