Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To attain a quantitative measurement of Kansei information, i.e. information relevant to human's sensibilities, in a reproduced sound, investigation was made by using the sound-pressure bandwidth compression process referring to the characteristics of the auditory system. The differences between sound signals of two test equipments were observed on the correlation of input and output signals. Feedforward type neural network was used to discriminate output signals between the two equipments. The network learning was finished using the data set processed beforehand by the compression.
