Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently a new machine translation method based on equivalent analogy has been proposed. In order to realize this method, it is required to build "Semantically Typological Knowledge-base for Languages" which has the semantic relations between an original language and a target language. In this knowledge-base, one of the most important issues will be how to attain mutual independency and high cover rate for sentence patterns obtained from huge amount of bi-lingual corpus This paper discusses the way to define the sentence patterns and proposes specifications for sentence pattern description language.
