Overview of Students' Acquisition of Critical Reading on Articles

Abstract(in English) This paper provides an overview of researches on critical thinking in the field of cognitive psychology. And this paper introduces a research. Two experiments were conducted to determine the effect of feedback and discussion on students' critical reading performance. In both experiments, students were asked to critique article. Experiment 1 showed that providing correct model feedback improved critical reading of students. Experiment 2, on the other hand, showed that discussion could increase incorrect articles critics as well as correct critics.
