Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we describe the issue of multimedia presentation effects on human sympathy brought as impression of viewing CG (Computer Graphics) arts. An experimental result is shown for two different presentation conditions; one is a CG picture only and the other is a CG picture with a corresponding English haiku (poem). We confirmed a combined presentation effect on subjective evaluation of impression. It suggests that sympathy and various aspects of visual impression can be enhanced with certain linguistic stimuli (haiku expression), when the content provides comprehensive clues for definite identification of theme or focus of the work.
