| 抄録(和) | 私のDPマッチング研究の歴史を振り返ってみる.学生時代のDPとの出会い,1968年のDPマッチングの着想,連続単語認識への努力,実用機DP-100開発での経験を述べる.あわせて最近の研究として,2次元DPマッチングへの拡張,筆順・続け書きフリーフリーオンライン文字認識への適用等を紹介する. |
| 抄録(英) | My research activities for the application of dynamic programming (DP) to speech recognition problems are summarized, covering the first encounter with DP principle in the student days, how the first idea of DP-application to speech recognition occurred, the step towered connected speech recognition, and up to the experiences in the development of DP-100 speech recognizer. The recent DP-applications are also reported, in non-speech pattern recognition problems. |
