Abstract(in English) My research activities for the application of dynamic programming (DP) to speech recognition problems are summarized, covering the first encounter with DP principle in the student days, how the first idea of DP-application to speech recognition occurred, the step towered connected speech recognition, and up to the experiences in the development of DP-100 speech recognizer. The recent DP-applications are also reported, in non-speech pattern recognition problems.
