Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Neuroinformatics is a new paradigm to brain science. It aims to create a research environment by integrating mathematical models, databases and information sharing using the Internet. For brain system elucidation, a research cycle consisting of data analysis, modeling, simulation and evalution is required. In order to support this, we have developed the SATELLITE. On the other hand, it is indispensable that many researchers can easily share their results in neuroinformatics. In this study, considering a proper system analysis environment for neuroinformatics, we designed and developed a client/server system analysis environment : CS-SATELLITE. The system is divided in calculation executor and user interface as a server and client respectively. A communication protocol was designed for user authentication and session control. The SATELLITE language was also extended from procedural language to object-oriented language. Based on these specifications, CS-SATELLITE will make possible to perform a smooth research cycle and also share data without breaking each research style.
