Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose neural network models of visual selective attention based on an assumption proposed by Desimone and Duncan and a neurophysiological experiment performed by lijima et al. We consider a model with neurons described by the Hodgkin-Huxley equation and one with neurons described by the FitzHugh-Nagumo equation. We clarify how an attention state, a non-attention state and an attention shift emerge in both models by numerical calculations. From results obtaind by both models, we point out that the visual selective attention is considered as synchronous phenomena not only for a frequency but also for a firing time among the neurons.
