| 抄録(和) | 分類問題の従来の研究は,分類対象が排他的多カテゴリ中の,単一カテゴリーに属するとする多値分類に関するものである.本報告では分類対象が複数カテゴリに帰属することを許容する多重分類の一般化アルゴリズムについて検討する.具体的には,誤り訂正符号を用いて原カテゴリラベルを高次元の空間に変換して分類を容易にする手法に基づく.提示手法をテキスト分類適用し,その有効性を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | In this report, we present a general algorithm for multi-category classification problem based on error correcting output codes(ECOC). This type of classification is essentially different from the conventional classification in the sense that in the former a pattern is not assumed to belong to one of exclusive categories. We experemintally show the usefuleness of the proposed algorithm by applying the method to multi-topic text categorization. |
