Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) MIMO space division multiplexing in an OFDM system (MIMO-OFDM) can achive high-data-rate transmission without inter-symbol interference in frequency-selective fading channels. It has been reported that precise channel estimation is possible by using the training symbols with a low condition number even though the number of training symbols in an OFDM system (for example, IEEE802.ila) is small. In this paper, we evaluate sensitivity of channel estimation acculacy and BER performance to the condition number depending on the training symbols, experimentary, using a DSP-based MIMO-OFDM system.
