Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the next generation mobile communication system, the several high performance modulation and multiplexing technique such as OFDM, CDMA and MIMO are applied. The modulation signal used in these transmission system is generated with the orthogonal signals. We have proposed a new approach to the modulation technique with the same distance constellation in n-dimensional Euclidean space by using the orthogonal signals. The point we want to make is that the same distance constellation can be generated in n-dimensional Euclidean space. In the case of 2 dimensional space, 3PSK is expressed with the same distance constellation. This modulation signal is generated by sin and cos orthogonal signals. The same distance constellation in n-dimensional Euclidean space can be similarly expressed by n number of orthogonal signals. The number of modulation is equal to n+1. In this paper, the principle of modulation is explained. The design of modulation circuit is shown. The performance is theoretically explained and estimated by computer simulation.
