Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we evaluate the performance of a Mesh Network using multi frequency bands. We first clarify the characteristics of the network when the ideal MAC protocol is used, in order to elucidate the potential of the Mesh Network. Next, its characteristics when using IEEE802.11a, a realistic MAC protocol, are described. The impact of using the multi frequency band technique is described along with the effect of using burst transmission. |
