Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a routing scheme for ESS mesh networks that provides efficient wireless resource usage and decreases the end-to-end delay. Packets are delayed when a particular Access point (AP) must relay many more packets than other APs. In order to address this problem, a routing scheme that considers load balancing is proposed and the performance is evaluated using an OPNET simulator. The simulation results show that the routing scheme reduces the end-to-end delay. The proposed scheme is especially effective when traffic is concentrated at a particular AP.
