Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we consider high-precision symbol synchronization of VSF-OFCDM (Variable Spreading Factor Orthogonal Frequency Code Division Multiplexing), which is a type of multicarrier-CDMA and considered for using in forward link of the 4th Generation Mobile Communication. There're not many researches on a method of generation a preamble sequence for high-precision symbol synchronization of VSF-OFCDM. In this paper, we propose SQP (Successive Quadrastic Programming) and GA (Genetic Algorithm) as a method of generation a preamble sequence. Farthemore our simulation results show that both preamble sequences generated by using SQP and GA are able to be used for high-precision symbol synchronization of VSF-OFCDM.
