Abstract(in English) | Mobile Wireless IP Network (MWIN) evolves mobile communications system to integrate various link layer technologies such as 4^ | generation wireless access cellular system with IP layer technologies such as IP mobility management that achieves the E2E principle. Multiple Interface Manager (MBM) is the important technology that selects the network interface card (NIC) with highest priority according to preference defined by user. In this paper, we propose and evaluate MIM using Link layer API (LAPI). The LAPI is the framework to transmit control information between link layer and upper layers. The results show mobile node performs seamless handoffs by software control with transparency. |
