Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In SCS-MC-CDMA system, we can obtain a channel estimate per sub-carrier and OFDM symbol by utilizing code-multiplexed pilot symbols. Therefore, we can use MMSEC, so that the communication quality can be kept at high level. The channel estimation method, which we proposed, first calculates delay profile by correlating received signal and the replica of transmitted pilot signal. Then the method selects only path elements from the profile, and the channel estimate per sub-carrier can be obtained by taking Fourier transform of the selected elements. This paper shows a coherent addition process for improving delay profile accuracy, a path detection method, and a noise power estimation method, which are necessary for MMSEC. As a result of computer simulation, it is clarified that the communication quality can be kept at high level even under high maximum Doppler frequency as 1000Hz (about 300km/h in 4GHz band).
