Performance Evaluation of a Parallel Interference Canceller for FEC-Coded MIMO-OFDM

Abstract(in English) MIMO space division multiplexing in an OFDM system can achieve very high-speed transmission. In this paper, a parallel interference canceller (PIC) is considered for coded MIMO-OFDM based on the IEEE standard 802.11a, and its performance is evaluated. In addition, we propose PIC processing symbol by symbol to reduce a processing delay. Numerical analysis shows that PIC has better PER performance compared to spatial filtering, and that severe degradation is not observed in the symbol PIC.
