Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The rapidly increasing number of users and services in mobile communications requires efficient usage of the available frequency band. MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) systems are one possible candidate to meet these demands. This paper proposes likelihood detection utilizing decision of partial bits in consideration of computational scale and data quality in the receivers. In the proposed decision, first likelihood partial bits is decided using inverse channel detection and next the other bits which is not decided using inverse channel detection is decided using likelihood detection and BER performances under Rayleigh fading channels for 16QAM signals employing the proposed decision scheme are analyzed. It is clear that the receivers both obtain good BER performances and reduce computational scale employing the proposed decision scheme. Furthermore, the upperbound and lowerbound on BER under Raylegh fading channels employing the proposed decisionscheme are shown.
