Abstract(in English) In this manuscript, access-point-centralized downlink transmission and channel search scheduling schemes are proposed for transmitting high quality real-time data such as video streaming in IEEE802.11 wireless LAN. In the proposed method, an Access Point (AP) schedules fair and randomized measurements on other channels performed by stations (STAs) by means of transmitting burst real-time data to STAs in slid order cyclically in every Service Interval (SI) and by means of transmitting Measurement Request frame defined in IEEE802.11h standard. Since, by adopting the proposed method, AP can detect interference on other channels with a high probability via STAs, AP can avoid interference switching to channels having interference caused by overlapping Basic Service Set (BSS), and it results in guaranteeing the Quality of Service (QoS) of real-time data transmission. The throughput of SDTV video streaming over HCCA in the IEEE802.11e and the detection probability of interference are evaluated by computer simulation, and effectiveness of the proposed method is shown.
