Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In OFDM transmission systems, errors due to inter-symbol interference occur in the multipath environment where the spread of delay exceeds a guard interval. The equivalent transmission-path model for OFDM is proposed as a scheme which predicts error rate simply and with high precision. However, the model has inconvenience where it needs many BER maps. In this paper, we propose a new scaling method producing any kinds of BER maps from only one map, and enhancing the convenience of the usability. The calculation results using the BER map obtained by the new method can predict without loosing accuracy. Although this method has been established based on a QPSK system, we show that it can apply also to 16QAM, and is expected to be a general model for any modulation systems.
